Audio and Connectivity
The audio performance was a mixed bag with speaker loudness measured at 65dB for voice calls and 76dB for ring tones – sufficient but not outstanding. The inclusion of a 3.5mm headphone jack was standard and appreciated for better audio experiences with earphones. Connectivity options on the HTC One S included Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, hotspot capabilities, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, and GPS with A-GPS support. The presence of stereo FM radio and RDS along with microUSB 2.0 with MHL (for TV-out), enriched its multimedia versatility.
