Camera and Audio
Photography on the HTC One SC was facilitated by a single 5-megapixel main camera, which included autofocus and an LED flash. While the camera sufficed for casual photography, it offered limited performance in low-light conditions and lacked some of the advanced features now common in smartphone cameras. The absence of a front-facing camera was a significant shortcoming, given the growing importance of selfies and video calls at the time. On the audio front, the phone featured Beats Audio technology, enhancing the sound quality for media and music playback—a standout feature for audiophiles.
