Performance and Software
Powered by a dual-core 1.0 GHz processor and running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with HTC’s Sense UI, the One SC handled basic tasks efficiently. However, the processor struggled with more demanding applications and multitasking due to its limitations and the capped 1GB of RAM. The phone came with 4GB of internal storage and the option to expand via a microSDHC card slot, a crucial feature considering the minimal internal storage. While the inclusion of HTC's Sense UI imparted a refined aesthetic and added features to the Android base, the device's hardware constraints limited its fluidity.
