Connectivity and Battery
For connectivity, the HTC Pure supported GSM and HSPA networks, offering decent call quality and connection speeds for its time, maxing out at HSPA 7.2/2 Mbps. The inclusion of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, and GPS/A-GPS provided flexible options for network and device connectivity. Surprisingly, it included an FM radio with RDS capability, which was appreciated by users who enjoyed traditional media.
The device was powered by a removable 1100 mAh battery, providing a standby time of up to 360 hours and talk time of approximately 5 hours and 40 minutes. These figures, comparatively adequate during its release, were often challenged by the demands of prolonged use in practice.
