Under the hood, the HTC Pure was powered by a Qualcomm MSM7201A chipset, with a 528 MHz ARM 11 CPU and an Adreno 130 GPU. With 288MB of RAM and 512MB of internal storage, its performance was limited, suited primarily for basic tasks such as calling, messaging, and light web browsing. Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional was robust for handling productivity applications and offered a degree of customizability; however, it was soon overshadowed by more modern operating systems in terms of app availability and user interface fluidity.
