HTC Snap Overview and Design

Overview and Design

The HTC Snap, announced in March 2009 and released in June of the same year, is a smartphone that was part of HTC’s effort to cater to business-focused users who preferred physical QWERTY keyboards over touch interfaces. Compact and lightweight, the HTC Snap measures 116.5 x 61.5 x 12 mm and weighs 120 g, making it portable and comfortable to hold. Its design embraces simplicity, with a straightforward candy bar shape accentuated by a QWERTY keyboard for text input enthusiasts. The addition of a trackball allows for easier navigation of the device's interface, which is a noteworthy tool for users familiar with BlackBerry models of that era.
