Display and Interface
The HTC Snap features a 2.4-inch TFT display, offering 65K colors and a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. This display might seem underwhelming by today’s standards, especially with a screen-to-body ratio of approximately 24.9%, resulting in a relatively small viewing area. However, at the time of its release, it was adequate for the basic browsing and texting needs that the device was primarily designed for. Running on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, the user interface is consistent with other smartphones of the period and allows business users to benefit from familiar Microsoft Office applications, albeit with modest graphical capabilities.
