Performance and Software
At its core, the HTC Touch HD was powered by a Qualcomm MSM7201A chipset with a 528 MHz ARM 11 CPU alongside an Adreno 130 GPU. While these specifications might seem modest today, they were capable of handling the Windows Mobile operating system and basic multitasking efficiently for the period. However, the 288MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM did impose some limitations, particularly in terms of running modern apps, which were more demanding.
