Sporting a 4.5-inch S-LCD screen with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, the HTC Vivid offers a display density of approximately 245 pixels per inch. While the color depth of 256K colors falls short of modern devices, it delivered respectable color reproduction and sharpness for its era. The 16:9 aspect ratio was ideal for videos and general media consumption, and the screen-to-body ratio of about 64.6% offered a decent amount of screen real estate for daily tasks.
