Battery Life
Powered by a 1950 mAh removable Li-Ion battery, the Ascend G526 delivered a reasonable performance given its hardware constraints. It could stand by for up to 648 hours on 2G or 336 hours on 3G and had a talk time of 8 hours and 20 minutes on 2G or 3 hours and 40 minutes on 3G. This battery longevity was satisfactory for the usage norms of its day, although heavy media use and internet browsing would deplete it faster.
