Connectivity and Communication
Connectivity features of the i-mate PDA2 were progressive for its generation, offering Wi-Fi 802.11b, supporting mobile browsing through WAP 2.0/xHTML, and HTML via Pocket Internet Explorer. Bluetooth version 1.2 allowed for easy sharing of files and the utilization of wireless accessories within its limited capacity. The inclusion of an infrared port further expanded its connectivity options, whereas the absence of a GPS and FM radio are notable omissions. User access to computers and peripherals was made possible through a proprietary USB connection.
