i-mate PDA2 Performance and Software

Performance and Software

Powered by an Intel XScale PXA272 processor clocking at 520 MHz, the i-mate PDA2 was equipped to manage the multitasking needs of its software, Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 SE PocketPC. This combination allowed for the utilization of mobile applications important to business users, like Pocket Office, which included Word and Excel. Though the internal memory was modest by today's standards, with 128MB RAM and 64MB ROM, the presence of an MMC/SDIO card slot with a storage capacity of up to 2 GB provided ample space for additional files and software essential to users at the time.
