Under the hood, the Icemobile Crystal is powered by a Mediatek MT6516 chipset and a 416 MHz CPU, operating on Android 2.2 (Froyo). Even for its time, this combination provided only basic functionality. With 512MB of internal storage and 256MB of RAM, the phone’s capacity for multitasking and complex applications was limited, though it included a dedicated microSD slot to expand storage. This configuration makes it clear that the device was meant for basic communication and perhaps some light internet use.
