The LG G3's camera was another high point, especially with its innovative autofocus features. The primary camera is a 13 MP shooter equipped with an f/2.4 aperture lens, Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), which contribute to producing clear and stable images. Adding to its uniqueness is the laser autofocus technology, which significantly speeds up focus acquisition, especially in low-light conditions. The camera can record 4K videos at 30fps and full HD at 30fps with HDR capabilities, delivering substantial video quality for its time. The 2.1 MP front-facing camera, while modest, is sufficient for basic selfies and 1080p video calls.
