Connectivity and Features
The LG KG800 supported GSM technology across various bands and offered GPRS Class 10. However, advanced connectivity options like EDGE, WLAN, and GPS were unavailable, which limited its use for intensive data activities. Bluetooth 1.2 provided basic wireless connectivity, and the proprietary USB connection was mainly for charging and file transfer.
In terms of audio, the phone lacked a loudspeaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack, relying instead on downloadable polyphonic, MP3, and AAC ringtones for alerts. Multimedia handling was enhanced with a built-in MP3/AAC/MP4 player which offered a decent audio experience, albeit through proprietary headphones or adapters.
