The LG KG800 immediately garnered attention for its luxurious and minimalistic design. With dimensions of 95 x 48 x 15.2 mm and weighing only 83 grams, it was incredibly compact and lightweight. The phone featured a slide mechanism that revealed its buttons, contributing to its sleek aesthetic. Unlike the blocky designs of many contemporaries, the LG Chocolate stood out with its smooth, glossy finish and touch-sensitive navigation keys, which were a rarity at the time. The keys subtly lit up with a red glow, adding an element of sophistication and allure that cemented its status as a style icon.
