Connectivity wise, the phone was limited by today’s standards. It did not support WLAN, Bluetooth, or a radio, meaning options for wirelessly connecting with other devices were non-existent beyond the infrared port. Additionally, the lack of a USB port reflected the era’s limited need for direct cable connections to other devices for multimedia sharing, a task commonly achieved via infrared.
