Display
The LG W7000 sported a primary STN display capable of presenting 256 colors, with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels which could display up to seven lines of text. This was complemented by a secondary display with a resolution of 96 x 64 pixels, providing basic information such as caller ID or message notifications without needing to open the full display. Though simplistic by today’s standards, the color displays were a substantial upgrade from the monochrome screens prevalent just a few years prior, and positioned the phone as a socially viable option at the time.
