Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Canvas Tab P690 is powered by an Intel Atom chipset combined with a quad-core 1.83 GHz CPU. This setup, in conjunction with 1GB of RAM, manages to deliver basic multitasking capabilities but struggles with more demanding applications and complex tasks. Running on Android 4.4.4 KitKat, the software is upgradable to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop, allowing users to enjoy some improvements in features and performance. However, both versions are currently outdated, which can limit access to newer apps and security patches.
