Display
The Surface RT is equipped with a 10.6-inch TFT display, offering a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, which equates to roughly 148 pixels per inch. While this resolution may not compete with some of today’s high-definition offerings, its ClearType technology significantly enhances text readability, making it well-suited for reading and productivity tasks. The approximately 65.6% screen-to-body ratio strikes a balance between display size and bezels, leaving room for handling without unintended screen interactions. In tests, the display achieved a contrast ratio of 1324:1, indicating decent color differentiation though not the deepest blacks or most vivid colors.
