Design and Build
The Surface Duo's design is undoubtedly its standout feature. When the device is unfolded, it reveals a striking, expansive AMOLED display that measures 8.1 inches diagonally. With a resolution of 1800 x 2700 pixels, the display is vibrant and crisp, offering a pixel density of around 401 ppi. The screens are housed within a sleek and surprisingly thin body, measuring just 4.8 mm when unfolded and 9.9 mm when closed. At 250 grams, the Duo feels solid but slightly hefty. The glass build, both front and back, is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, adding a layer of durability to its refined aesthetics. The dual screens, joined by a 360-degree hinge, provide unmatched flexibility, allowing users to employ the device in various modes, such as book mode for reading or tent mode for presenting. Touch and stylus input support enhance the device's versatility, especially for those who rely on stylus-driven applications.
