Display
The display was a significant feature of the MIO 8860, offering a TFT screen capable of showing 256K colors, though only around 65K were usable. With a size of 2.2 inches, it provided a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels, which amounted to approximately 128 pixels per inch. This level of display quality was fairly standard at the time, focusing more on essential functionality than high-definition clarity. An interesting aspect of the phone was the inclusion of a second external display, also capable of 65K colors, adding an extra dimension for quick notifications and alerts without needing to activate the main screen.
