Motorola A768i Connectivity

Connectivity

In terms of connectivity, the A768i supported GSM 900, 1800, and 1900 bands, affording users a reasonable level of global network compatibility. The device lacked advanced connectivity features typical of today's smartphones—such as WLAN or GPS—but it did include Bluetooth 1.1 and an infrared port, useful for short-range data exchanges. Data transfer over networks relied on GPRS, as it was a precursor to the higher-speed mobile broadband technologies that would emerge later. Notably, the absence of a USB port or radio might be limiting for some users.
