The RIZR Z8 was equipped with a single 2 MP rear camera with an LED flash, capable of capturing images good enough for social sharing in 2007. Its video capabilities were limited to 320p, which is quite minimal by today's standards. A front-facing VGA camera was available for video calls, which was a bonus feature back then. For audio enthusiasts, the RIZR Z8 included a music player supporting MP3, AAC, and AAC+ files, although it did not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, challenging users to rely on Bluetooth or a miniUSB connection for audio output.
