Design and Build
The design of the Motorola StarTAC 75 was a significant departure from the conventional brick-style phones of the time. Measuring 98 x 57 x 23 mm and weighing just 112 grams, it was incredibly compact and lightweight. This made it portable and easy to carry, fitting comfortably in a pocket or purse. When closed, the clamshell design protected the keypad from accidental dialing. The use of the Mini-SIM slot was consistent with early mobile phones, marking a transition into more compact SIM card formats.
