Motorola V290 Display

Display

For its primary display, the V290 featured a CSTN screen capable of displaying 4096 colors at a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels and a 1:1 aspect ratio. This modest color palette was sufficient for basic graphical representations and still images typically used in simple phone menus of that era. An additional monochromatic display with a resolution of 96 x 32 pixels adorned the outside of the device. This secondary screen provided convenience by displaying the time and caller ID without needing to open the phone, a small yet practical addition.
