The NEC e606 boasted a unique design that was bold and substantial, measuring 109 x 53 x 32 mm and weighing 145 grams. Its chunky build was typical for early 3G phones, reflecting both functionality and the hardware constraints of the time. The phone utilized a Mini-SIM, fitting the standard of the day before the advent of more compact SIM cards. The TFT display could show up to 65K colors, with a resolution of 132 x 160 pixels over eight lines, providing a vibrant if somewhat limited visual experience by modern standards.
