For photography enthusiasts, the NEC e616 offers a single CIF camera with an LED flash—a common feature at the time. The camera also supports video recording. While this may seem rudimentary compared to modern smartphones, the inclusion of a camera with video capability was a step forward back then. A basic front-facing camera was included, allowing for low-resolution selfies and video calls, which was a highlight of early 3G technology.
