O2 XM Connectivity and Features

Connectivity and Features

From a connectivity standpoint, the O2 XM was relatively simplistic. It operated on GSM technology supporting 2G bands and provided GPRS Class 10 for basic internet access, though there was no EDGE support. Lacking Bluetooth, WLAN, radio, and positioning features, the phone kept its connectivity features to the basics. It featured a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser for rudimentary internet browsing and supported SMS and MMS for messaging, alongside Java MIDP 2.0 for basic gaming and application compatibility, satisfying the core needs for communication and entertainment.
