Palm Treo 180 Display and Interface

Display and Interface

Equipped with a monochrome resistive touchscreen that supports 16 shades, the Treo 180’s display might seem rudimentary compared to today's vibrant, touchscreen phones. However, its 160 x 160 pixel resolution allowed for the clear visibility of icons and text at the time. The touch-sensitive interface was a significant advancement, allowing users a more interactive way to navigate through the Palm OS 3.5.2H. The resistive nature of the touchscreen required a stylus, a familiar accessory for Palm devices, allowing for precise inputs.
