Featuring a simple graphical display, the GD55 sported a screen resolution of 112 x 64 pixels. While this may seem rudimentary by today's standards, it was adequate for the phone's primary functions like displaying call information, and messages, and navigating the user interface. The display included a blue backlight, which was a visually pleasing touch and offered a certain degree of usability in low-light conditions.
