The Panasonic P51's camera setup featured an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus and an LED flash, which was quite adequate for capturing well-lit outdoor photographs and 1080p video at 30fps. On the front, it had a 1.3 MP camera, which was modest even for its time, mainly useful for basic selfies and video calls. The overall camera performance was functional for casual photography but lacked the sophistication and quality found in devices that came soon after.
