Under the hood, the Panasonic P51 was powered by a Mediatek MT6589 chipset, which included a quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU and a PowerVR SGX544 GPU. At the time, this configuration delivered competent performance for handling daily applications and light gaming without significant lag. It ran on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, offering access to the Google Play Store and a range of Google services, though it soon became outdated as newer versions of Android were released.
