Lacking modern options like Wi-Fi and GPS, it instead includes Bluetooth 1.1 for pairing with compatible devices and an infrared port for short-range communication. USB connectivity is provided through a proprietary interface, which harks back to when universal standards were not yet established. The phone's removable Li-Ion 780 mAh battery supports standby times between 80 to 250 hours and talk times from 2 to 6 hours, which, while limited, could suffice for moderate usage typical in that era.
