Philips 680 Connectivity and Network

Connectivity and Network

Designed for GSM networks, the Philips 680 supported GSM 900, 1800, and 1900 bands, adequate for international voice calls and basic messaging services. It offered GPRS Class 10 for data services, though it didn't support EDGE, limiting enhanced data speeds. While basic internet browsing was possible using its WAP 2.0 browser, the phone lacked modern connectivity options such as Bluetooth, WLAN, and GPS. Additionally, users had to rely on wired connections via the miniUSB port, given the lack of wireless features.
