Design and Display
The Philips 680 featured a compact flip-phone design, measuring 86.2 x 46.2 x 22 mm and weighing just 94 grams. It was intended as a pocket-friendly device with vibrant color options including black, orange, and red. The main display was a CSTN screen with 65,000 colors and a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, reflective of the period's technology standards. An additional external CSTN display, featuring the same color depth but a lower resolution of 96 x 64 pixels, allowed for viewing notifications without having to flip open the device.
