Connectivity and Communication
The phone was designed to operate on GSM networks (900/1800/1900 bands) and supported GPRS for internet connectivity without EDGE. Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP allowed basic wireless communication for audio, albeit at limited speeds compared to later versions. Without WLAN and GPS, the device was limited in its connectivity potential, focusing more on voice calls and SMS/MMS messaging. The inclusion of stereo FM radio with RDS support gave users the ability to enjoy live radio, a popular feature in many feature phones.
