Equipped with a 2.6-inch TFT resistive touchscreen, the Philips F718 offered a modest display experience. It supported 256K colors with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, which translated to a roughly 154 ppi pixel density. While these specifications provided basic visual clarity, they align with the standards of the time, especially in non-smartphone budget devices. Unfortunately, the resistive touchscreen meant that interactions required a firm touch, possibly with the use of a stylus, as opposed to the more advanced and responsive capacitive touchscreens.
