Design and Build
Physically, the Qtek 1010 is quite substantial with dimensions of 129 x 73 x 18 mm and a weight of 201 grams. At a time when mobile devices were smaller and lighter, this bulk reflects its PDA roots, designed to provide more functionality than a standard phone. It incorporates a Mini-SIM slot, consistent with its era, while featuring a TFT resistive touchscreen that can display 4096 colors. The 3.5-inch display, with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and a notable 4:3 aspect ratio, sits within a relatively high screen-to-body ratio of around 40.3%. While these specifications might seem antiquated today, at the time, they afforded a user interface capable of more detailed graphics than typical phones of that time.
