Connectivity
Connectivity was a mixed bag. It supported Wi-Fi (802.11b) and Bluetooth, which extended its flexibility in network settings and with peripheral devices. While the absence of GPS was a downside, the inclusion of an Infrared port hinted at its utility in environments where infrared communication with other devices was still relevant. The Qtek 8310 missed out on features like FM radio which were popular in other models. For web access, it used a WAP 2.0/xHTML browser, suitable for browsing stripped-down mobile-friendly web pages.
