The phone ran on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphone edition, a pioneering operating system for mobile devices transitioning from feature phones to smartphones. At its heart, the Qtek 8310 was powered by a TI OMAP 850 chipset with a 200 MHz ARM926EJ-S CPU. It was sufficiently capable for basic smartphone functionalities, though it might have felt sluggish under more demanding tasks. Storage comprised 64MB RAM and an adjustable 64/128MB ROM, allowing for basic app usage and media storage, with expansion possible via a miniSD card slot.
