Samsung Continuum I400 Design and Display

Design and Display

The Samsung Continuum's design encapsulates the early 2010s aesthetic with its compact dimensions of 125 x 58 x 12 mm, and a weight of just 125 grams. This lightweight and pocket-friendly build made it convenient for users. The phone's design is complemented by a 3.4-inch Super AMOLED screen, boasting a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. This display size and quality were quite respectable at the time, delivering vibrant colors and good contrast ratios due to the AMOLED technology.

One of the standout features of the Continuum I400 is its secondary ticker display, seated just below the main screen. This 1.8-inch Super AMOLED strip, with a resolution of 480 x 96 pixels, set the Continuum apart by allowing users to access notifications, weather updates, and even social media alerts without interrupting the main display. The entire display ensemble is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, which provided durability against scratches and minor bumps.
