Design and Display
In terms of design, the Samsung D730 showcases a compact and robust flip phone blueprint. It measures 95 x 48 x 24 mm and weighs just 95 grams, perfectly balancing size and weight for comfort and portability. This model features a mini-SIM, a common standard during its release. The internal display is a 1.8-inch TFT screen capable of rendering 256K colors, with a resolution of 176 x 220 pixels. This screen, while modest by today's standards, was sufficiently vibrant and detailed for daily tasks back in 2005. An additional external TFT display with a resolution of 96 x 96 pixels, which supports 65K colors, serves as a quick view panel for notifications and caller IDs when the phone is closed.
