Performance and Software
Powering the D730 is a Texas Instruments 192 MHz processor, which runs on the Symbian OS with the Series 60 User Interface. Although this might seem underpowered now, at the time it provided a decent performance for navigating through basic applications and menus. The operating system offered a structured and user-friendly interface, allowing for basic app use and personalization. For storage, the phone includes 18MB of internal memory, supplemented by the option for expanded storage through an MMC-micro card slot, a typical feature in early multimedia phones.
