For imaging, the Samsung E840 comes with a single 2 MP rear camera, allowing for basic photography needs. While it lacks the sophistication of modern smartphone cameras, it was sufficient for capturing simple snapshots during that time. The camera can also record video in CIF format. Notably, the phone does not include a front-facing selfie camera or a loudspeaker, and users would have to resort to vibration alerts or downloadable polyphonic MP3 ringtones for notifications.
