Internally, the Samsung E840 is fitted with 70MB of storage. Although fairly limiting by today's standards, the capacity was adequate for storing basic files and contacts. Users could expand this storage using a dedicated microSD card slot. The phonebook allows storage of up to 1000 contacts with the photocall feature, and call log options for dialed, received, and missed calls are available. Additional features include downloadable games and Java support with MIDP 2.0, which provides a platform for running Java applications.
