The Galaxy Grand 2 features a 5.25-inch TFT display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels, which translates to a pixel density of approximately 280 pixels per inch. This provided reasonably sharp visuals for its class, with a satisfactory brightness and an acceptable contrast ratio of 813:1. However, the TFT panel meant that viewing angles and color reproduction were not as vibrant compared to more expensive AMOLED displays available at the time. In direct sunlight, the device's contrast ratio improved modestly to 1.380, facilitating somewhat better readability outdoors.
