Under the hood, the Galaxy S6 is powered by the Exynos 7420 Octa chipset fabricated on the 14nm process. The octa-core CPU, consisting of four Cortex-A57 cores clocked at 2.1 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.5 GHz, delivers impressive performance that can handle multitasking and demanding applications with ease. Paired with a Mali-T760MP8 GPU, the S6 provides smooth graphics performance suitable for gaming and media consumption.
The device comes equipped with 3GB of RAM and storage options of 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB utilizing UFS 2.0, which offers faster data transfer rates compared to traditional eMMC storage. However, the lack of a microSD card slot for expandable storage could be a limitation for some users.
