At the heart of the S9 Active was the Qualcomm SDM845 Snapdragon 845 chipset, featuring an octa-core processor subdivided into 4x2.8 GHz Kryo 385 Gold and 4x1.7 GHz Kryo 385 Silver cores. This configuration aimed to deliver both power and efficiency, making the device well-suited for demanding applications and multitasking. Complemented by the Adreno 630 GPU, the S9 Active was expected to handle gaming and graphics-intensive tasks with ease. The phone was to be equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable via a dedicated microSDXC slot, providing ample space for apps, media, and more.
