Samsung i505 Design and Build

Design and Build

The Samsung i505 was a compact device with dimensions of 91 x 54 x 23 mm, making it slightly bulkier in thickness compared to many phones on the market at that time. Weighing 147 grams, it had a sturdy feel. The phone design incorporated a mini-SIM setup and featured a TFT resistive touchscreen with a 162 x 176 pixel resolution, while also supporting a higher resolution of 324 x 352 pixels for certain content. A notable aesthetic feature was its second external OLED display, which although constrained to 256 colors, provided essential at-a-glance information without needing to activate the main screen.
